“Arrived and waited 20 minutes for the gentleman in front to stop arguing about his Aircon not working. While waiting I put 3 euros into the vending machine for it to be out of order. Eventually got to the counter and paid in cash, as was requested on the website. Found out our room was around £50 more expensive and there's a city tax. Got to the room. No welcome pack and our double bed was two singles pushed together. Found out that night that we also had separate duvets. It was quite nice having a break from the wife! The air con is cool, but not cold. Takes nearly all night to get cold and it's only the morning when you think "I should turn it down slightly". On day 2 we found out the hotel had charged our card. After 20 minutes of back and forth I was told we will get the money back when we check out. A short and swift reminder that we paid in full, in cash, soon fixed that issue. Still took 3 days for the money to make it back to the account. The hotel is ok and the staff are mediocre at best. The rooms are dated, the Aircon is sub-par, the cleaners only "cleaned" once in our 5 day stay, and when I mean cleaned, they swapped out the towels. The biggest downfall is the location. The area isn't the best and there's not much to do. The underground is a 5 minute walk and the line gets you right into the centre of Milan. I personally wouldn't go here again. It's the equivalent of a £29 a night hotel in the UK, but 3 times the price.”

“Quite close to metro stations and spacious beds. Not sure why this hotel is a 4 star hotel though...the rooms are quite vintage and didnt even have efficient AC so we suffered in the 35 deg weather. We also stayed in a studio room but the kitchen was quite small. Also we had bugs in our room :( Expensive for what it offers. The reception staff were nice though. The vending machine in the lobby was also helpful.”
